Why the name geeksam ? Well, my name is Samuel and people call me Sam. That accounts for the 2nd part of the word. Why geek ? I've always had a thing for trying out new softwares related to video, photo, sound editing blah blah. I get excited about gadgets too ! So, I thought why not 'geeksam'. But I wanted to confirm whether I was using the word in the right sense. Checked up wikipedia. Here's what I got; "A person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media.". Sounded good. :-)
What was the need for the blog in the first place ? There were so many things Google helped me to find out on the net. Why not consolidate all that info and provide it in a single place. Definitely not copy-paste (not all the time !) work, but my personal touch would be there. This site will contain "How-Tos" and some reviews of gadgets (if I get my hands on them). I promise to keep things simple. :-)
